Hello ALL... Ayo here. We hope you like our new site SCENE (http://www.dissidentdisplay.com/scene) This site has been sometime in the making. Would like to thank you all for supporting us over the years. Now for some technical details about the new site. The site is fully dynamic. Images, video, text and other contents are all pulled automatically from our database via XML and text document. This integration allows us to respond quickly to happenings and developments in the arts scene.
The STORIES section holds 18 short videos on a wide variety of subjects, simply move your mouse left or right to view the selection. You can comment on each story by clicking the -comment on this story- on the top left of the selected story box. 3 stories will be selected weekly for rotation in the FEATURES section. SCENE In Miami
Ever wonder what goes on in Miami during the first few weeks of December? If you do, then you probably are already packing your bags for the trip south. If you don't, you can count on Scene Magazine to bring you a glimpse of the excitement. Eric will be on the ground with video camera in hand to cover Art Basel, Scope, the parties, and the people. Adrian will host a party with Designer Kayce Armstrong at the Pilikia Poolside Lounge at the South Seas Hotel this Saturday from 5pm to 11pm. Sound like a great excuse to get somewhere warm and beautiful? You bet. If you have good excuses of your own, call us while you're down there!
